Food For Healthy Skin

It’s usually the case that an exterior manifestation is only a symptom for what is actually happening inside. Either a damaged hair or a dehydrated, faded skin, both reveal greater issues going on inside the body.

In most of the cases, the problem is the lack of vitamins and minerals, the basic resources of a healthy body and of course a healthy skin too.

Contemporary life is marked by deficiencies. There’s no time for proper meals, no time for evening walks, and certainly no time for proper vitamin and mineral intake. But what are all these vitamins and minerals anyway, and what should we do in order to receive the right amount of each of them? Lets see what could be the ideal food for healthy skin.

The specialists suggest,  the body should never miss,  several resources such as vitamins C, E, A, K and B. Each of them has a specific role in keeping the negative sun effects away from your precious skin, repairing skin tissue, reducing wrinkles and lines and acne control for those who have fallen victims to this complexion condition. Vitamins A and E are also pretty important for the health of your hair. They nourish the hair, thus keeping it smooth and frizz-free. Pharmaceutical hair products specifically care for these ingredients, especially when it comes to products for dry, frizz or damaged hair.

But let’s go back to the skincare. It’s important to remember that of all B vitamins, there is one that crowns over the others: biotin. It basically determines the basis of the skin, nails and hair. Lack of this vitamin leads to skin conditions, dermatitis or even hair loss. If your body doesn’t bear the right amount of this vitamin there is something you must do, even if that means eating those eggs that you hate or that rice that has no taste. Rice does have a good taste, if properly prepared and you can’t deny your body the eggs, since they are an important source of biotin.

And now that you’ve taken care of your vitamin resources, let’s talk about minerals. They are under no circumstance less important than those above, but only fairly important.

The ensuring thing about minerals is that most of us don’t need additional intake. Sometimes, without knowing, we secure our body with the proper amount by consuming for example spring water which gets you the minerals needed and reduces skin conditions. Apart from the minerals found in spring water, there are others that you can’t dismiss either.

Selenium, either a supplement or cream, protects the skin from the sun and lowers skin cancer risks. You find it in eggs, seafood, whole-grain cereals and, although smelly, in garlic as well.

Copper-based creams are amazing for the skin, especially combined with vitamin C and mineral zinc. Your skin remains elastic and firm, which is basically what every one of us wants.

Acne usually signalizes zinc deficiencies. It’s important to incorporate oysters, poultry and lean meat in your diet if you want to keep your complexion healthy and shiny.

Prunes And Berries:

If you don’t want to worry that much about vitamins and minerals, just make sure your daily food routine includes some fresh prunes and blueberries, maybe some blackberries or strawberries, plums, oranges, cherries, which are all both delicious and full of antioxidants.

But last, still not least, there is one thing that makes this health recipe perfect – water. It just may be the main ingredient for a healthy lifestyle and a glowing skin.
