6 Tips For Dealing With Nasty Blackheads

Whiteheads get most of the attention in the world of acne, but their darker counterparts can be just as bad. They don’t look the same, but they can cause a similar level of embarrassment. They can be unsightly and highlight other problems such as oily skin or discoloration on the face. There’s really nothing worse than waking up with a bunch of blackheads knowing that other people will see them throughout the day.



But you don’t have to suffer in silence and you can fight back with a proper daily routine. Blackheads can be a thing of the past if you are diligent with good skin care habits. Here are some helpful tips for dealing with nasty blackheads on your road to healthier looking skin.

Daily Washing:  

It’s important to remember that washing isn’t just about lathering up your face with soap as often as you can. Sleep Well:  

It’s not just about products and washing when it comes to blackheads. You need to give your skin a chance to rest and heal on a regular basis. Make sure you get enough sleep from day to day so that your body can reset naturally. Your skin produces the least amount of oil while you’re asleep which is why you tend to wake up with better looking skin in the morning.

Reduce Stress:   

Stress doesn’t always directly lead to acne, but there are peripheral related factors that can definitely contribute to breakouts. For some people, reducing stress and exploring relaxation routines really benefit the look of their skin. And even if it doesn’t, it will benefit your body in other ways.

The general rule from most sources is never to pop pimples, but sometimes there might be exceptions. If you have a particularly embarrassing pimple or blackhead – it might just have to go. But you have to be ready for the consequences and realize this is only a temporary solution. Remind yourself that you might be triggering further breakouts in the future, and then carefully decide whether or not it’s worth it.
