5 Healthiest Drinks To Boost Your Health And Energy Levels

Did you ever know what are the most healthiest drinks on the planet? Well!! most either don’t know or just avoid to understand what health benefits do these healthy drinks carry. The road from leaving your unhealthy drinking habits to picking up good ones can be a very rocky one. With soda companies having the best marketing plan that money can buy, and with them being virtually everywhere (you are never more than 5 minutes away from a Coke if you live in the city), it is very hard to refrain yourself from getting a nice refreshing soda every day.



It is not a bad thing to drink a soda every once in a while – it’s probably actually good to give yourself a deserving treat every once in a while – but it’s when you’re doing it all the time that it becomes a problem. The trick is moderation. The same goes for the following 5 health drinks. You shouldn’t always drink one and only one drink.

You should drink water everyday, and mix it up with these five types of health drinks.

(1) Drinks High In Antioxidants:   

Antioxidants are always what the buzz is about when it comes to healthy drinks. That’s because they are full of ployphenols and flavanoids that capture free radicals in your body and prevent oxidative damage to your cells – the type of damage that can lead to cancer. Low sodium tomato juice is one of the healthiest things you can drink on this planet – and its antioxidants protect you from lung and stomach cancer, as well as pancreatic, colorectal, esophageal, oral, breast and cervical cancer. Orange Juice, apple juice, and other fruit juices (as long as they 100% natural) are also high in antioxidants. Green tea is another famously healthy drink rich in antioxidants and is the perfect replacement for coffee and soda as it contains caffeine as well.

(2) Mood Altering Drinks:  

These are the drinks you should drink in lesser doses and really emphasize the “in moderation” idea with. However that being said, hot chocolate can be a very healthy drink – just as long as you’re not drinking it three times a day. The cocoa in it helps protect you from heart disease and chocolate is known to be a natural remedy for positive mood enhancement. That’s because chocolate regulates the hormone serotonin, which is a mood regulating hormone (low levels of it are associated with depression). Mint tea is another drink that is good for your mood. This is because it is an antispasmodic and its ingredients allow your muscles to relax – which in turn allows you to relax. It helps ease cramps and is also loaded with antioxidants.

(3) Two Drinks You May Be Unheard Of:  

Kefir and Kvass. If these sound foreign to you that’s because they are. They are both native to Russia and the Russians have been drinking the two drinks since the ancient times. Kefir is made from fermented milk, and Kvass is made from fermented stale dark, sourdough rye bread. They are both healthy because they are filled with beneficial bacteria that produce beneficial enzymes once they enter your digestive system. They help to aid digestion and promote healthy flora in your digestive tract. They are also loaded with healthy vitamins.

(4) Scientifically Constructed Health Drinks:   

These are the type of drinks that were designed with one thing and one thing only in mind – your health. Drinking them can have many different benefits and there is usually some sort of health drink that has been constructed for whatever health benefit you are looking for. There are all sorts of scientifically designed health drinks. You just have to do a little research.

(5) Green Drinks:   

The only problem with green drinks, or juicing your vegetables at home, is that it can get pretty expensive because you can go through a lot of vegetables really fast. This is a reason that maintaining a garden can save you a lot of money and also give you the keys to health success through juicing. Your body needs raw food, and juicing provides the purest form of that. Since it is liquid, your body can absorb the vitamins and minerals much quicker, giving you all your energy and health benefits right away.     I have to admit, I was quite addicted to soda when I was younger. I could easily drink it with my breakfast, lunch and dinner. I didn’t really see anything wrong with it, and all my mother’s nagging about “people using soda to clean sinks” and stuff didn’t really make a difference.

    Now however, I’ve learned to appreciate plain old water (at last) and the occasional hot tea to help me with my digestion. I still drink soda, but at least not for breakfast 😛
