Besides fat, proteins, and carbohydrate, vitamins become very essential to produce energy. According to medical science, vitamins help to unlock it contained in foods. Fatigue and weakness are the examples in which the body has nutritional deficiency. Because vitamins boost energy they take an important part in this case.

Since the vitamins boost energy and are very important for our body, we must know how we can obtain vitamins. Actually, they can be easily found in our surrounding. Natural vitamins become kind of vitamins that are quite easy and cheap for they are substances taken contained in organic food. Animal and plants are major sources of natural vitamins. However, the vitamins might be obtained from supplement from the time being.

VITAMINS THAT PRODUCE ENERGY:

The medical studies have categorized kinds of vitamins with their function and benefits. Now, the question is what vitamins can produce energy. Vitamin B1 is one of them. In medical world, vitamin B1 is also called thiamin. This vitamin will directly deal with mental attitude and nervous system. It is a vitamin which becomes a key role in term of generating energy. Vitamin B1 can be obtained from crimini mushroom, tuna, or spinach. Weakness, losing appetite and tiredness become the common symptoms when somebody has not sufficient vitamin B1. Besides, Vitamin B2 has similar function as vitamin B1. It is a water-soluble B-complex vitamin which becomes essential component of two important enzymes in our body; flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD). The cell in our body requires them to produce energy. Moreover, vitamin B2 also helps to maintain the skin, eyes, and hair health. The foods which have sources of this vitamin are such as leafy green vegetables and meats. Vitamin B3 or niacin has been very crucial too. Having noticed these functions as instrumental to bring more oxygen to our brain, vitamin B3 will increase mental alertness and energy providing better mental health.

B-complex vitamins have been known as fundamental vitamins in producing energy. In this case, royal jelly is one of the foods containing B-complex vitamins. The experts have researched about royal jelly. The result is that some vitamins have been found in royal jelly such as B-complex vitamins, vitamin B5 and also vitamin B6. It is highly recommended especially for athletes to consume it. When they are doing exercise or training, royal jelly will be able to produce a quick boost of energy. Synephrine has the same function similar to royal jelly as well. It is the main compound which is found in Citrus aurantium or Bitter orange. A dose of 4 till 20 mg of synephrine equals to 200 till 600 mg of a citrus aurantium extract. Besides, yohimbe becomes common ingredient used for energy supplements. It is able to produce highest energy level for few hours.

Vitamins are beneficial in the sense that without vitamins, it is impossible to live healthy. Some symptoms such as weakness, fatigue and tiredness are the most common signs occurring when somebody doesn’t have enough vitamins for his or her body. In short, vitamin has an important role in  increasing our quality of life. Therefore, we have to make sure that we have to consume foods which contain sufficient vitamins to produce energy every day.

    Great points! It’s true that vitamin deficiencies are often the cause of fatigue. B complex vitamins are great place to start but vitamin C and D deficiencies are also associated with chronic fatigue, also minerals such as iron and magnesium. I think it’s also important to note the need for adequate rest and reducing stress which are other major factors in fatigue.
